Our Approach

At Sophia Maison, each piece is made thoughtfully and in small quantities. Most of our garments are made to order, allowing us to reduce waste and ensure careful attention to detail.

Faulty or Incorrect Items

If you receive an item that is faulty, damaged, or not as ordered, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order.

To help us resolve the issue promptly, please include:

  • Your order number

  • A brief description of the issue

  • Clear photographs of the item

Where a fault is confirmed, we will offer:

  • A repair, or

  • A replacement, or

  • A refund, where repair or replacement is not possible

This is in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act of South Africa.

Natural Variations

Due to the nature of:

  • Natural or blended fabrics

  • Small-batch production

  • Hand-finished details

Minor variations in colour, texture, or finish may occur and are considered part of the garment’s character, not defects.

Care & Wear

Items that show signs of wear, damage due to incorrect care, or alterations made after delivery are not eligible for return or exchange.

Please follow the care instructions provided to ensure the longevity of your garment.

Shipping Costs

  • Return shipping costs for faulty items will be covered by Sophia Maison.

  • Shipping costs are non-refundable.
